Michelle Caylee represents clients in all aspects of family law, including divorce, domestic violence, child custody, and support.
She graduated with honors from the University of California Law, San Francisco and received a distinction for Outstanding Pro Bono Achievement and the Dean’s Recognition for Professional Development.
Michelle Caylee started her professional career as a hard news journalist. She covered emotional stories and earned a national recognition as an up-and-coming young journalist for her writing. Inspired to use her story-telling skill to make a more tangible difference in people’s lives, she attended law school to share and advocate for her clients’ positions and counsel them through difficult and often emotional times.
Prior to joining Marsten & Mosher, Michelle Caylee worked as a family law attorney at a large firm in San Franciso and as a research attorney for the family law judges at the San Mateo Superior Court. She also has work experience at a full-service law firm in Madrid, and with a coalition of non-governmental organizations in The Hague where she uncovered cases of wartime sexual violence and the commercial sexual exploitation of children. She has taken cases to trial in four different countries and the International Criminal Court.
